How Do I Pay?

We make it simple. You pay a $100.00 classroom fee at the door with cash, money order, or credit card. 

What Do I Bring Besides Payment?

Bring one of the following: Illinois Secretary of State Suspension Paperwork, Illinois Driver's License, Illinois Secretary of State ID, Illinois Court Paperwork or Illinois Traffic Ticket. Please call if you don't have access to one of the above documents.

Refund Policy

Southern Illinois Driving School will not refund any fees we are capable and willing to perform our part of the contract. In the event a student fails or leaves a class for any reason, we will provide unlimited attempts at no additional cost to the student. All students pay at the door and refunds are NOT PROVIDED and if you leave for any reason the refund will not be reimbursed.

What Will We Do? 

Attendees will follow an agenda that is "Approved by the Illinois Secretary of State". This includes lectures, individual and group workshop activities and short films. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and must participate. At the end of the class, the student will take a test that will require a score of at least 70% to pass and must abide by classroom rules. We have a very high success rate and in the unlikely event of a failure or leave before the end of class do to sickness or emergency the student can come back and take the class again for FREE! 

At the end of class all students that PASS will receive a Certificate of Completion. The Secretary of State Pupil Status Report will be emailed by Southern Illinois Driving School within 24 hours to the Secretary of State Springfield office for disposition. The Secretary of State may take ten working days to process the "Pupil Status Report"...

 What We Don't Do

Southern Illinois Driving School is not a commercial driving school. It does not possess certification and/or license to teach beginning driver's (teenagers or adults) classroom or behind-the-wheel instruction. Please contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles for a list of qualified providers.


Do I have to Register in Advance?

No. We make it easy no registration in advance all our students are walk-ins! You pick the Sunday and come 15 minutes early to register or bring your paper registration filled out as an option.
